Scheme Officers
Ben is a Level 3 First Responder and qualified paramedic. He is also a Peer Trainer & Educator and greyhound lover. As the coordinator for the scheme, Ben is responsible the overall running of the scheme, bridging the gap between the ambulance service and the scheme. Ben also manages our training sessions, onboarding new starters and mentoring of responders.
Rachael is a Level 3 responder who has been with the scheme since 2021. Alongside her responder duties, she looks after our scheme finances, writing funding bids and helping to raise funds as well as publicising the good work our scheme does on social media. She is also an event medic.
John is a level 2 responder and a relatively new member of the team, but has already made a significant impact, taking on the daunting role of managing and organising the huge volumes of equipment that our scheme uses. John has also recently begun assisting in the day to day administration of our scheme to support our reporting and audit functions.
