We are always keen to hear from people who want to join us as responders, trainers or affiliate members of the scheme.
We are keen to hear from people who calm, good communicators, work well under pressure and who have a real passion to help their community.
In order to join us, you will need to be able to satisfy the following criteria:
- Be 18+
- Have a full UK drivers licence and preferably access to a car
- Pass an enhanced DBS check
- Be willing to attend monthly training sessions
- Commit to a minimum of 16 hours per month to avoid skills fade
- Want to help your community
If you believe you can meet this criteria, then we would be more than happy to discuss the potential of you joining our scheme.
People join us for a variety of reasons ranging from wanting to help their local community, to wanting to go to university to study medicine, to wanting to use us as a stepping stone into full time ambulance work. Whatever your reason is, as long as you are a genuine person who wants to help people in their local area, we want to hear from you.
