Community Training

When someone has a cardiac arrest, every minutes counts. To give the patient the best chance of survival it is important that as many people as possible know what to do.

In association with East Midlands Ambulance service we offer free awareness sessions in CPR and the use of AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators).

This is a new initiative being trialled by the ambulance service, which is being spearheaded by our group.

Restart a heart day

We offer free awareness training to:

  • The local community
  • Charities
  • Youth Groups
  • Schools
  • Businesses who deal with the general public – we will even run sessions for your customers!

To take advantage of this, all you need to do is:

  • Provide us with a location
  • Arrange who will attend
  • Agree a date and time with us

What will happen?

We will turn up at the agreed time and location, provide all equipment and provide the training to your staff, members and customers.

Sessions last approximately 1 hour.

If you would like to arrange an awareness session, please head over to our contact page and send us a message.

Further to this, our scheme also offers custom training to local businesses, schools, community groups and can also appear to teach CPR and defibrillator use at community events. For more information on this, see our Community, Business and School Training page
