In addition to our 999 response model, we also have responders who freely offer their time to the ambulance service to work in the control room.
Members of our team devote their time freely to help in the dispatch of first responders to the scene of medical emergencies across Leicestershire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Rutland, Lincolnshire and Northamptonshire, helping ease the burden on full-time control room staff, keeping resources moving and getting people the help they need as quickly as possible.
Working out of our Nottingham control room, the support we offer plays a vital part of the response model that ensures the best care for people in our local communities and far beyond across the whole of the east midlands.
